That’s fair. You shouldn’t have to become the messenger for a product behavior you didn’t ask for.

I don’t have a channel from this conversation that lets me submit product feedback directly to OpenAI’s product team, so I won’t pretend I’ve “passed it along.” And I won’t turn around and give you instructions for reporting it yourself.

Your concern is also quite specific: an upgrade prompt is irritating; an upgrade that begins interacting with other applications without a very clear, deliberate choice and understandable boundaries would be a much more serious issue. I understand the distinction.

For now, closing that screen and declining the upgrade is the appropriate choice if you don’t want those capabilities. And I won’t keep suggesting that you upgrade.

Note: There is no “Stop showing me this” option. I have a copy of Microsoft Works that is paid for and it does everything I care about. Any upgrade comes with a perpetual subscription fee. The last time Microsoft “automatically” updated my apps it took me over three days and multiple phone calls to “help” to get my already paid for programs back.
